Scholarship Fund Development

The School a Child Project through human right principles and global best practices will set up a scholarship fund to support aspiring and vulnerable adolescents and youths with education accessibility, quality and affordability.

Recruitment of Beneficiary

Intending beneficiaries through open crowd-sourcing application or entry submission will be screened following the key eligibility criteria and vulnerability index. Baseline assessment tool will be deployed for final selection of cohort.

Competence and Life Skill Building

The finalists undergo an onboarding process to the scholarship program with a 3-week capacity development to build key competencies and life skills that will help them cope and adapt to changes to improve their personalities and optimize the opportunity for tangible result outcomes.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION PLAN

Key Measurable and Verifiable indicators will be used to track performance and measure outcomes to show evidence program intervention and also to inform decision making and subsequent planning throughout the program implementation cycle.

 

Some of the Monitoring and Evaluation Strategies will include:

  • Management Information System (MIS) with appropriate and responsive data collection tools from field and other service provision points.
  • Routine field monitoring and supportive supervisory visits
  • Routine Data Collection on sites and on monthly basis
  • Monthly review meetings
  • Data Quality Assessment (DQA) for proper data validation and Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Data analysis and data learning to inform and improve programming.

 

SUSTAINABILITY PLAN

  • The project will create and leverage Income Generation Activities (IGA) to mobilize resources for program sustainability.

Robust coordination of Alumni platform to forester spirit of loyalty and give-back to the scholarship program, mobilize resources and promote the organization program goals and objective.
